She is an accredited newspaper journalist and spent seven years reporting from Myanmar and Bangladesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Her most memorable paycheck: <\/strong>When I worked as a freelance journalist in Myanmar, I was paid in cash in the local currency, kyat.
