She has written for publications including Healthline, Black Ballad and GAVI. She is a staff writer at Meeting of Minds, a British publication tailored towards the stories of Black Women and girls. She is also a published children\u2019s author and short story writer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Her first paycheck:<\/strong> &#8220;It was a lump sum for doing field research in schools in Lusaka Province for four weeks in 2014. It was 4,500 Kwacha \u2014 about $255.
